About
Chandra Gangavarapu is a senior at the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy. She is currently conducting machine learning research on schizophrenia prediction at NorthShore University HealthSystem and is a Junior Research Affiliate for the Wolfram Physics Project. Chandra is the President and Founder of Music Box Project Inc., a nonprofit organization that raises awareness for mental health through music, which she has spread to communities worldwide. As an advocate for mental health, she has recently given a TEDx talk about the relationship between music and mental health. Chandra is also a dedicated singer, violinist, and Indian classical dancer.
