About
Dr. Ahrendt has been a member of the IMSA science faculty since 2015 and teaches Scientific Inquiries in Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Environmental Chemistry. Prior to coming to IMSA, she worked for nine years at Argonne National Laboratory where she did protein engineering of antibodies, fluorescent proteins, and protein nanosensors. At IMSA she supervises students in the Student Inquiry and Research program doing research in protein engineering and drug discovery. She also teaches for the PROMISE program.
